Interior trends
Trends comes with the story. Being a designer they follow the needs, likes, dislikes and desires of the client to get what they want done. We love to talk about trends or some people even live with the trend. Sometimes trends sound a bit weird when people say that trends are not timeless
But I think trends come with a story and keeping a record of how trends and styles evolve over time and new and different ways is the most exciting and creative mind in an interior designer. They express it with design.
Trends are something that you really like and you have consciously invested in a good expression of your design and personal style, everyone has their own style and style is something that never goes out of fashion. It can be difficult to find and catch up on what is happening right now in design.
There are certain trends that you should consider when planning to design.
Raw
- This design is basically based on eco-friendly philosophy. This proposal not only tries to bring nature into the design but also tries to win recycling.
- When we are talking about raw design we will talk about the natural material used like wood.
-Wood
- Wood is a beautiful natural element of nature.
- Wood had to be chosen as a special element, it must be pure, with all the cracks and holes visible.
- The natural beauty of wood is such that it only needs to be polished and a little esparto applied to remove splinters from it. Raw, untreated wood has a charm of its own, it needs nothing more than some natural oil to hydrate and preserve it. All this helps us feel closer to our nature, this is the idea behind the raw style. Wood is not the only material used in this natural decor style. Other basic materials used in furniture and home accessories are fibers (bamboo, esparto and sisal) and natural textiles based on cotton, linen, silk and wool.
- – The key to raw decor is to leave a neutral base by mixing different textures, such as showing raw concrete walls so that individual, natural pieces can take the main role. Use rattan and raw wood furniture.
- Interior style themes in which raw furniture can be used
1. Industrial style
2. Rustic style
3. Minimalist
Light
- Talking about lighting comes from nature.
- Designer are opting to use large windows, double height skylights and options for daylighting strategies.
- It allows ample of natural light to enter space.
- The right lighting can transform a room from drab and unattractive to warm and welcoming.
Note:-
If in case you don’t have space for natural lighting choose artificial natural warm color light, use mirrors, light furniture etc . By carefully controlling the light intensity, direction, and color, interior designers can manipulate moods, highlight specific areas, and create a sense of drama and interest in a space.
Color (Tone , tiny & shade)
- Colors play an important role in designing. It is said that it is like bringing life to a dead body.
- Color plays a universal language and creates communication tread between designs and elements.
- It all depends on your choice every color has its own value and significance we need to follow color theory to make balance.
Biophilic design
- The design aims to create spaces and connect people with nature that are beneficial to both human health and the environment.
- It can improve people’s physical and mental health.
- Use greenery liberally (tropical theme), choose earthy colors and natural elements like wood, stone, bamboo, linen and ceramic materials, etc.
Why biophilic trend will grow in 2025?
Thank you!
